Another 38 cases take Scarborough borough Covid figures past 4,500 mark
and live on Freeview channel 276
The new cases brings the borough’s total since the start of the pandemic to 4,517.
Scarborough’s seven day infection rate per 100,000 people has once again dropped slightly from 302 yesterday to 281 today, though that remains more than double the rate of infection the borough was seeing before Christmas.

Hide AdThe average infection rate across North Yorkshire stands at 401 cases per 100,000 people.
Mobile testing sites will be in Whitby, Scarborough and Filey this week for people with coronavirus symptoms to get tested.

Scarborough’s walk-in coronavirus testing site at William Street Coach Park is offering testing seven days a week from 8am until 8pm.
Appointments for all sites must be booked in advance.

People who do not have access to the internet, or who have difficulty with the digital portals, can ring the 119 service to book.
