THE Scarborough and district branch of Age Concern, which covers Whitby, is inviting people to celebrate the Great Sunday Lunch next month.
The Great Sunday Lunch will be held on 19 October at the Raven Hall Country House Hotel at Ravenscar as part of the Sunday Carvery.

Tony Simmonds, vice chairman of Age Concern, said: “The Great Sunday Lunch is a fun event that will raise vital funds for our work with older people.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for people to get together with older relatives and friends who usually eat Sunday lunch alone.”
