On behalf of Whitby Now I would like to thank everyone who took part in or contributed to our recent pop quiz.
The evening was a fantastic success with 17 teams taking part, many from local bands and businesses and we raised a total of £153.

Special thanks must go to Colin and Andrew at The Station for hosting the event and donating the all important drinks prizes; also to Folk Devils CD shop, Musicport, Pickering Folk Festival, Marshall Amplification and Landers Butchers who all donated prizes for the event.

A special thanks also to Robinson’s Jet who sponsored the Kazoos for the rather surreal kazoo round.

And, last but not least to all the teams who took part.

Kate Longmate, Ruswarp, Whitby
