Scarborough Aldi to close for four days for huge refurbishment

The 940sqm store will shut on March 14 ready for the work which is part of a £300m investment into stores across the UK.
Four new job opportunities will be created by the refurbishment, in addition to the 38 people already employed in the shop.

Hide AdThe new look store will give customers increased space with wider aisles.
There will also be new spaces for British meat and fish, health and beauty products, beers, wine and spirits, baby wear and a new Food to Go section at the front of the store.
The new format is intended to make shopping easier for customers, who can also take advantage of Alid's Specialbuys which launch in stores on Thursdays and Sundays.
Aldi's new look will be revealed on Thursday March 19 when it reopens at 8am.

Hide AdDuring the re-opening week, the store will be offering a wide range of Mother’s Day flowers.
Aldi Store Manager, Joe Sorenson, said: “The store is looking fantastic, and we can’t wait to welcome our loyal customers back so they can see it for themselves.
“We know that the value and quality of our products is unbeatable, and we’re committed to making sure that the shopping experience each customer enjoys in our stores is on a par with the products and services they’re used to.
“We’ve got some great Specialbuy deals on, so we’re set for a busy opening week.”
The store is located in Northway, Scarborough and is open from 8am-10pm Monday-Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sundays.
