COASTGUARDS from Whitby were called to help paramedics on Robin Hood's Bay beach after a woman slipped and fell on some rocks on Saturday afternoon.
The woman, who was not local and was middle aged, suffered a suspected broken leg.

The team of four coastguards who were alerted at 3pm, helped the ambulance crew as they transferred her into an ambulance.

She was taken to Scarborough District Hospital for treatment.
