Rover stolen from car park

THIEVES stole a Rover 400 car from a car park in Whitby's Langborne Road.
The vehicle, which was metallic burgundy in colour and said to be worth £1,200, had disappeared when its owner, from Guisborough, returned.

Police are examining CCTV footage.

Anyone with information about the theft on 14 August is asked to call Whitby Police on (0845) 6060247.
