Teenager assaulted

A TEENAGER suffered an eye injury after he was hit in the face and knocked unconscious for a short time outside a Whitby pub.
Police were called to Beez in Wellington Road at 1.30am on Saturday morning following an altercation between a 17-year-old and another man.

He was taken by police to Scarborough Hospital for treatment to his left eye.

No one was arrested and police are still looking into the fracas.
