the Geology Trust starts its summer programme of events on Sunday with guided walks to Rosedale West, Beck Hole Moor and Egton Bridge.
As well as this Sunday, walks take place on the 13 and 27 of July.

There are also events for children including Dinodays, which will take place on 24 and 31 of July from 10am to 4pm, at the Old Coastguard Station in Robin Hood’s Bay.

There’s also a fossil walk on the 24 July from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

These events cost £2 per person but adults with children will go free to the Dinodays.

The Trust is also running a Fantastic Fossil Finders presentation in Whitby Library at 2pm for an hour on Wednesday 30 July.

The presentation will tell children all about fossils and will be free but you will need to book with the library.

Members of the Trust can attend all public events for free.
