Bridlington Town Council launches its Christmas card and window display competitions
Bridlington Town Council has launched its annual Mayor’s Christmas Card Competition.
The competition is open to children aged between five and 16, and asks youngsters to come up with a design which will be used as the official greeting card by the Town Mayor, Councillor Liam Dealtry.

Hide AdThe winning design will win a £50 Argos voucher, and the honour of seeing their great work used by the mayor.
The second placed card will win a £30 Argos voucher, while the person selected in third place will earn a £20 voucher.
The designs must be at the Town Council Offices (2A Marshall Avenue, YO15 2DS) by Sunday, November 22 to be considered.
All entries must also include child’s name, age, and the school they are attending.

Hide AdThis year’s Christmas Window Display Competition for retailers in Bridlington has also been unveiled.
Bridlington Town Council is hoping all shops and businesses in the town will get behind the contest and make the town shine in the run-up to Christmas.
The winning retailer will win a trophy which they can showcase for a year, and a plaque to keep forever.
Retailers can collect an entry form at the Bridlington Town Council Offices at 2A Marshall Avenue, YO15 2DS or can download a form via the www.bridlington.gov.uk website.
Completed forms must be back at the council offices by Sunday, November 22 or emailed to [email protected] by that date.
A judging panel will decide on the winner.
