Hinderwell and District Charity Darts League
THE finals and presentation night of Hinderwell and District’s Charity Darts League was held at the White Hart Inn, Mickleby.

After playing the semi finals of the individual and pairs cups, league trophies were presented by Roohi Lupton of Macmill
an Cancer Support.

A cheque for £800 was then presented to Mrs Lupton on behalf of the darts league by Eddie Brown, captain of the darts league champions.

Mrs Lupton thanked the darts league for the cheque and then talked about the work of the Macmillan Nurses and how the money would be spent.

The evening continued with the finals of the pairs and individual cup.

Remaining trophies were presented by landlady Clare Attridge.

The league secretary expressed thanks to Clare and Keith Attridge for their hospitality and to all who had helped and assisted throughout the season.

The evening concluded with a buffet supper.

Trophy winners:

Individual cup, G Scott, r/up R Parkin, semi final I Carr and A Fletcher; pairs winners, G Scott and A Fletcher, r/up G Summerson and I Carr, semi final G Major and J Theaker and B Jackson and C Jackson; darts league winners, Tiger Inn; Wood-Crooks Memorial Trophy winners, Tiger Inn, r/up Staithes Athletic Club A; JJ Jackson Memorial Trophy winners, Tiger Inn, r/up Fox Inn; dominoes league winners, White Hart B; highest start, 160x3 R Parkin; highest finish, 156 W Young; most 180s 7 R Parkin; least number of darts 501, 15 G Scott; most league points man, 36 R Parkin; most league points lady, 22 M Clelland.
